The Dallas Morning News December 2000
We provides news, events, photos, chat, reviews, weather, resournces, and a lot of other information that effect the lives of people who live and work in Frisco, Texas and the surrounding areas.
We started in the spring of 2000 when there wasn’t much going on in this growing country town. Stonebriar Centre wouldn’t open until later that summer, Preston Road was one lane each direction, and there was one high school. But through smart city planning and the eventual development of the Dallas North Tollway, it was clear that this city was different and would grow exponentially. That’s when eFrisco.net began. The site grew quickly and was featured in the Dallas Morning News in December 2000 as an upcoming community site for the growing suburb. Over the next ten years, the site went through a few name changes: Frisco-Online.com and FriscoStation.com, but eventually landed in 2013 as Friscoline, named for the famous train line that once ran through this area. Despite the changes, the site has continued to provide the latest news and information about the ever growing Frisco area.
Some great resources to help you around the city.
